St. Francis had a conversion moment that changed him forever. While praying in a cave, he realized he was a fool. A fool for God…kissing lepers, begging for stones, and singing in the streets. But it is through this that God changed him. The moment he became a saint is the moment he realized his joy was no longer a cause for faith, but a result of it.
